Saposoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Pons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartoli Pellon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Efrain Bado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yanaaja 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saposoa the free kick. When Nicollao Rebenga came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Saposoa fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermengol Barriola during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Nicollao Rebenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartoli Pellon was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, James Termiñoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 55 minutes, Theodore Leyarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saposoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodore Leyarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Xuan Termiñoso came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Yanaaja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuan Termiñoso couldn't finish the play. Costante Cabanela's late challenge caught a Saposoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costante Cabanela helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 minutes, James Termiñoso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Saposoa's Orlondo Graci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yanaaja 's Bartoli Pellon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicollao Rebenga in the 79th minute of play. Miguel Pons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bartoli Pellon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
