After 19 minutes, Hug Prada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANDES FC and the Yonque FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, ANDES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hug Prada to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Yonque FBC booed when ANDES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santutxo Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yonque FBC's Cirilo Valdueza got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, ANDES FC's goalkeeper Locaio Tamaron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Lerdo. The ANDES FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when ANDES FC's Raul Villagran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raul Villagran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Elazar having to interfere. In the 34th minute Raul Villagran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sugoi Pumarejo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yonque FBC's protests and gave Sugoi Pumarejo a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half ANDES FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Yonque FBC's Tibor Dudics in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ANDES FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Raymundo Mas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to ANDES FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Behe Bellid hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ANDES FC's Raul Villagran got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tibor Dudics recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Lerdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Locaio Tamaron having to interfere. Benicio Lerdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yonque FBC's Tibor Dudics in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ANDES FC's goalie prevented a goal. The ANDES FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
