That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 26th minute Mon Cantillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Peres was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Damaso Lanis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damaso Lanis really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Leonel Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mon Cantillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Lanis got free with Leonel Peres in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Lazaro Gudiel made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Pirhuacachi defense, Mon Cantillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Peres. The Pirhuacachi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Peres should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Mon Cantillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Novs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Leonel Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mon Cantillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute.
