Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Serafin Milla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jenhuapata 's Cortez Niño. Cortez Niño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 6 minutes, Oinaz Merodio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenhuapata and the AMAZONAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oinaz Merodio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Zoil Vilafranca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 15th playminute. In the 18th minute, Ralondo Mañaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralondo Mañaria in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cortez Niño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Tobar got free with Elia Angostina in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Satordi Arevalo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cortez Niño came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AMAZONAS FC's Ralondo Mañaria. But to his dismay, Ralondo Mañaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cortez Niño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Mascaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Satordi Arevalo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Elia Angostina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jenhuapata 's Oinaz Merodio got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Ralondo Mañaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AMAZONAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralondo Mañaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortez Niño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralondo Mañaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Serafin Milla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cortez Niño having to make a save. Ralondo Mañaria's late challenge caught a Jenhuapata 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralondo Mañaria helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jenhuapata booed when AMAZONAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralondo Mañaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Tobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Mascaran to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenhuapata 's goalkeeper Cortez Niño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jenhuapata 's zone, Gil Mascaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cortez Niño came out of the goal and Gil Mascaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Mascaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Niño having to interfere. Jenhuapata 's Cortez Niño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Jenhuapata from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Jenhuapata getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Michel Tobar hit a great ball. AMAZONAS FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Jenhuapata 's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gil Mascaran took the corner. After taking down the ball on AMAZONAS FC's corner Gil Mascaran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cortez Niño quite easily take care of the ball. In the 69th minute Manolo Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Niño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenhuapata 's goalkeeper Cortez Niño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jenhuapata 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AMAZONAS FC the free kick. 86 minutes into the game, one of Jenhuapata :s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 94 minutes into the match, Jenhuapata 's goal looked a bit too open when Rozarius Arizabalo came free, but Cortez Niño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayo Blea hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Elia Angostina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Satordi Arevalo in the 98th minute of play. The AMAZONAS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AMAZONAS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
