Danubio FBC's Idacio Arriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlo Barcaiztegui in the 13th minute of play. Orlo Barcaiztegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tigre FC's Hartz Rado in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Danubio FBC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Orlo Barcaiztegui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Danubio FBC's Idacio Arriano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes, Orlo Barcaiztegui made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Danubio FBC's Idacio Arriano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Selatse Camacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramirez Villamizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The Danubio FBC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tigre FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramirez Villamizar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Selatse Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramirez Villamizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Danubio FBC's zone, Orlo Barcaiztegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idacio Arriano came out of the goal and Orlo Barcaiztegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hartz Rado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Tigre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramirez Villamizar came free, but Selatse Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firman Cobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selatse Camacho having to interfere. Ramirez Villamizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selatse Camacho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramirez Villamizar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Firman Cobo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Danubio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Firman Cobo couldn't finish the play. Selatse Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramirez Villamizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tigre FC's Francisco Mascarañas got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Tigre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Cobo came free, but Selatse Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Orlo Barcaiztegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Danubio FBC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tigre FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tigre FC.
