The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazario Hervias during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Alianza AQP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Hervias to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Ralondo Mañaria could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Ximun Hurdinosa however easily saved by the left post. Elia Angostina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazario Hervias, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Gil Mascaran came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AMAZONAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Mascaran couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Alianza AQP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. Elia Angostina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Alianza AQP's Sancho Alcega broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Elia Angostina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Orlando in the 35th minute of play. After 35 played minutes AMAZONAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Galo Santianes. Sancho Alcega took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elia Angostina. AMAZONAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ralondo Mañaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Serafin Milla came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the AMAZONAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Milla couldn't finish the play. Alianza AQP's Ximun Hurdinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Mascaran in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Mascaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 69th minute, Alianza AQP's Marcos Pedrero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Angostina. Elia Angostina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Orlando Orlando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gil Mascaran kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Alianza AQP's Marcos Pedrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chants of Alianza AQP echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as AMAZONAS FC had held the ball for most of the match.
