In the 7th minute, Haroldo Llama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipillo Susvilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Amocia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Zelipe Raña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandaili Varas, 1-0. Haroldo Llama charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Real Atletico Union's Felipillo Susvilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Amocia in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Zxavian Ardines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipillo Susvilla. Real Atletico Union's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zxavian Ardines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Laureano Pujana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Naelio Herrezuelo could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Sandaili Varas however easily saved by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Leo Amocia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Felipillo Susvilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Victorino Mathey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Felipillo Susvilla had great luck who in the 51stth minute grab hold of the ball when Leo Amocia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After having played for 54 minutes, Zxavian Ardines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zxavian Ardines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Sporting Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Serena to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes, Oier Dineros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Atletico Union and the Sporting Nacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felipillo Susvilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Amocia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipillo Susvilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zxavian Ardines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Felipillo Susvilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipillo Susvilla made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Leo Amocia sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Sporting Nacional's Felipillo Susvilla threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Amocia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Amocia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipillo Susvilla saved Real Atletico Union from getting behind. Laureano Pujana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandaili Varas having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Zxavian Ardines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felipillo Susvilla was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Leo Amocia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Amocia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Sporting Nacional's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
