Jabier Viedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipillo Susvilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jabier Viedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipillo Susvilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jabier Viedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With his leg Abel Villapadierna managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Real Atletico Union's Naelio Herrezuelo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jabier Viedes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Patapon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jabier Viedes couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, Patapon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goizeder Cotobal to maneuver through the defense. Abel Villapadierna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naelio Herrezuelo in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Real Atletico Union's goal looked a bit too open when Galindo Llain came free, but Felipillo Susvilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Patapon FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ernesto Viesca hit a great ball. Ernesto Viesca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galindo Llain to make the kick off. Abel Villapadierna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naelio Herrezuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Galindo Llain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Felipillo Susvilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naelio Herrezuelo in the 71st minute of play forced Patapon FC's goalkeeper Abel Villapadierna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Patapon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naelio Herrezuelo came free, but Abel Villapadierna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Real Atletico Union's Silvino Ubach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Villapadierna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Galindo Llain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Felipillo Susvilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jabier Viedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patapon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jabier Viedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipillo Susvilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patapon FC's Galindo Llain got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Patapon FC's Galindo Llain, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Patapon FC. Galindo Llain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Felipillo Susvilla made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play, Real Atletico Union's Laureano Pujana made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Villapadierna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Naelio Herrezuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Villapadierna having to interfere. Abel Villapadierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Pujana in the 95th minute of play. Real Atletico Union were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Patapon FC for a fine match.
