An unexpectedly hard shot by Calixto Bujanda in the 24th minute of play forced CUSCO FC's goalkeeper Itzaina Sella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, San Juan FBC's Libertad Treviño made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Itzaina Sella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xulian Graciosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacindo Sarra having to make a save. After a rather tough play, San Juan FBC's Aldo-Eduardo Negrete got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Rios Guismonde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 38 minutes into the game, San Juan FBC's Rios Guismonde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Itzaina Sella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of CUSCO FC booed when San Juan FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calixto Bujanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacindo Sarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inigo Basallan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itzaina Sella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Libertad Treviño in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Libertad Treviño made a kick off. A collision led to CUSCO FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eduardo Guedeja hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Beat Sequeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Itzaina Sella. CUSCO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beat Sequeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Beat Sequeiros took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Itzaina Sella. Itzaina Sella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The supporters of CUSCO FC booed when San Juan FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Junior Cabrito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, San Juan FBC's goalkeeper Jacindo Sarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xulian Graciosa. Itzaina Sella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libertad Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of San Juan FBC booed when CUSCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inigo Basallan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, San Juan FBC's Monico Cagigal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Itzaina Sella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Libertad Treviño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After a rather tough play, CUSCO FC's Frichoso Frera got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Beat Sequeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Juan FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beat Sequeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Guedeja during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Guedeja kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. San Juan FBC's Oro Sisneros was substituted for Mikolas Laredo. In the 91st minute Beat Sequeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Itzaina Sella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itzaina Sella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Libertad Treviño in the 93rd minute of the match. San Juan FBC's Froilan Ferdinand got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Froilan Ferdinand off the ground. San Juan FBC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
