The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Guia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arixo Villaboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Matteo Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donatello Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Arraiz in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Juan Celaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPORT BOYS and the Dique players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Arixo Villaboa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SPORT BOYS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arixo Villaboa couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Matteo Quintero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leon Guia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, SPORT BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Arraiz came free, but Donatello Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Arraiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donatello Falco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Arraiz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arixo Villaboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Dique's Garcia Aumada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Falco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matteo Quintero in the 33rd minute of play forced Dique's goalkeeper Leon Guia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Alfredo Arraiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donatello Falco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, SPORT BOYS's Juan Celaya got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half SPORT BOYS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matteo Quintero made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Arixo Villaboa took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Leon Guia to make any attempt to save it. SPORT BOYS's Arixo Villaboa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Dique's Garcia Aumada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Falco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Guia made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arixo Villaboa sent off a good shot on target. SPORT BOYS's Donatello Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Aumada in the 70th minute of play. Alfredo Arraiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Donatello Falco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dique's Leon Guia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Quintero in the 84th minute of play. Matteo Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dique supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SPORT BOYS's performance. The match ended with a win for SPORT BOYS.
