After a rather tough play, UNIVERSITARIO's Ferran Picavea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Búi Tremski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shantala Mariña having to interfere. Haitz Betoño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Guillelme Ruidiez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With 10 minutes on the clock, Caitano Rasines commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th match minute, Atahualpa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caitano Rasines to maneuver through the defense. Chepe Moran struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Guillelme Ruidiez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNIVERSITARIO. In the 13th match minute, Atahualpa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Aleso to maneuver through the defense. When Chepe Moran came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the UNIVERSITARIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chepe Moran couldn't finish the play. Guillelme Ruidiez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haitz Betoño in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match UNIVERSITARIO got a corner. Atahualpa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chepe Moran ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Chepe Moran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guillelme Ruidiez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Honesto Noguerol kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Búi Tremski came free, but Shantala Mariña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Búi Tremski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haitz Betoño in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillelme Ruidiez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingvar Kruuse got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Haitz Betoño. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Búi Tremski to make the kick off. Atahualpa's Christiano Velunza was substituted for Clodio Franques. Atahualpa made a substitution. Sebastiano Corton replaced Bertran Rivadeneira. Sengrat Raigal made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atahualpa's Benvide Cortiguera. UNIVERSITARIO made a substitution. Ritchie Cobarrubias replaced Haitz Betoño. After a rather tough play, Atahualpa's Cristian Aleso got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Ritchie Cobarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillelme Ruidiez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Búi Tremskis short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Shantala Mariña to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 89 played minutes Atahualpa got a freekick which was hit by Benvide Cortiguera. Honesto Noguerol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫飞迪 in the 95th minute of play forced UNIVERSITARIO's goalkeeper Shantala Mariña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
