Spectators: 9197 (Terracing: 6899, Seating: 2115, VIP seats: 183) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iván Sotomayor made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Nistor Zdrobiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Anacleto Freyle got a free kick in the 9th minute. Bernt Van den Dries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Xamo Viladrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Nistor Zdrobiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xamo Viladrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Benavente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Alfonso Ugarte's Antonio Benavente made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xamo Viladrosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xamo Viladrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaldo Argüelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alfonso Ugarte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calle Lindström was slow to take the kick. During this time Balkes FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Calle Lindström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alfonso Ugarte's Nistor Zdrobiş did a great save. Antonio Benavente scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xamo Viladrosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Benavente might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xamo Viladrosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Benavente ran back to his position shaking his head. Xamo Viladrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Benavente in the 34th minute of play. Reimundo Nobajas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Van den Dries in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamo Viladrosa saved Balkes FC from getting behind. Nistor Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Sotomayor in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Balkes FC defense, Antonio Benavente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Viladrosa. The Balkes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Viladrosa should have stopped the shot. The Balkes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alfonso Ugarte were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Benavente to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fernado Mendivil hit a great ball. Xamo Viladrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Benavente, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Geraldo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Zdrobiş having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Dündar Tura. Xamo Viladrosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Benavente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. Antonio Benavente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Viladrosa having to interfere. Nistor Zdrobiş came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Balkes FC's Anacleto Freyle. But to his dismay, Anacleto Freyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 71st match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Cambas to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Leonel Sallas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xamo Viladrosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Iván Sotomayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Antonio Benavente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xamo Viladrosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 86th match minute, Alfonso Ugarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Van den Dries to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Bernt Van den Dries managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfonso Ugarte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Van den Dries was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iván Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Vieitez made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernando Vellon however managed to control.
