In the 13th minute Octavio Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Pelayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Puchs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Arsenio Pelayo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. José Puch had several of the Majestic Club FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Arsenio Pelayo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arsenio Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Puch in the 26th minute of the match. Alianza Trujillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Obano Mezcano in the 29th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Pudes Vilas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 33rd minute of the match Alianza Trujillo got a corner. Majestic Club FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Obano Mezcano ran over to the corner to take the kick. If 白响悦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Bras in the 37th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Majestic Club FC's zone, Marcelito Vivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Pelayo came out of the goal and Marcelito Vivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Pudes Vilas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Majestic Club FC's Arsenio Pelayo. Arsenio Pelayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Szilveszter Szegh put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arsenio Pelayo.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Bras was the one to do the kick off. If Octavio Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Majestic Club FC's goal looked a bit too open when Obano Mezcano came free, but Arsenio Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelito Vivar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When Majestic Club FC's Octavio Bras in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alianza Trujillo's goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Alianza Trujillo's José Puch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Pelayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alianza Trujillo's Jean-Luc Picard was substituted for Carlos Marchena. A sloppy throw-in by Jean-Luc Picard in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Majestic Club FC's Alvaro Largacha. Tomas Brandt made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Octavio Bras sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Majestic Club FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelito Vivar came free, but Arsenio Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Majestic Club FC's Arsenio Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Puch in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Majestic Club FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Puch came free, but Arsenio Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Jean-Luc Picard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Majestic Club FC's Florencio Salinas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tomas Brandt came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Majestic Club FC's Manu Kanu. But to his dismay, Manu Kanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 95th minute, 董平升 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Bras got free with Tomas Brandt in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Obano Mezcano. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alianza Trujillo had won after a very even match.
