Bilbo Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehis Nugin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciano Briz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Spor Las Huevas's Mehis Nugin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Maestri in the 12th minute of play. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by David Rauch with Erez Negrini as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lartaun Riera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ratko Glavak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Zuri Serantes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Deportivo Municipal's Ratko Glavak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Municipal from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. David Rauch hit a great ball. Ratko Glavak made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Urtzi Zamorano sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Municipal's goalkeeper Ratko Glavak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilbo Bermudez. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Spor Las Huevas made a substitution. Carlo Citrullo replaced Lartaun Riera. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Maestri made a kick off.
