The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cordarryl Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Baldomiro Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Eriberto Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Navarro Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Abascal having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Estebe Larrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UCV's Eriberto Bingen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute UCV were awarded a corner. Erauso Larrieta went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on UCV's corner Erauso Larrieta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomiro Abascal quite easily take care of the ball. Vitaliy Alov kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Eriberto Bingen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomiro Abascal. 17 minutes into the game, UCV's Bixintxo Arbieto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Abascal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Eriberto Bingen scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Abascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Navarro Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Mazuste Cubillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nel Zuloaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nel Zuloaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbasa Barbari in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Eriberto Bingen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Grau's Baldomiro Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Perez in the 30th minute of play forced Atletico Grau's goalkeeper Baldomiro Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bixintxo Arbieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, UCV's Eriberto Bingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Navarro Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Eriberto Bingen sped through Atletico Grau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baldomiro Abascal. In the 61st minute Bixintxo Arbieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orain Trinidad hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. UCV's Raymon Alas was substituted for Javier Malmonje. Cordarryl Garcia struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Baldomiro Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UCV. 73 minutes into the match, Atletico Grau's goalkeeper Baldomiro Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Navarro Perez. The UCV fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when UCV's Eriberto Bingen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Bixintxo Arbieto made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Abascal. Atletico Grau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. UCV made a substitution. Eyague Querendil replaced Pavol Zubor. Baldomiro Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Abascal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raymon Alas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 89 minute of play. UCV's Araoz Pereña was substituted for Bixintxo Arbieto. When the final whistle sounded UCV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atletico Grau.
