Ferdinand Johnson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martino Armona in the 32nd minute of play. Aureliano Buendia kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Tholsted to make the kick off. Kerem Titiz's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerem Titiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kerem Titiz hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Călin Morovan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Johnson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Songur Yağızbay was substituted for Artal Burualla. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ferdinand Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryota Miyagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Valencia in the 64th minute of play. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oalo Dean in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Călin Morovan who took care of the corner kick. 倪国庭 thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ferdinand Johnson, a very annoying self made goal in the 68th minute which led to 2-0. With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Teddy Tholsted tried to sneak it across the goal line. When CD Municipal's Oalo Dean in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalie prevented a goal. If Oalo Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 78th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Oalo Dean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Johnson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teddy Tholsted. Aureliano Buendia kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. George Forsyth was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Arnulfo Valencia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Valencia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryota Miyagi in the 95th minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Ferdinand Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Municipal fans cheered their team off the field, for while ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
