After 96 minutes, Alexis Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Minas and the Niupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Las Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Herrera to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Niupi FC fully deserved thier win.
