With his leg Lucho Fernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Vego F.C.'s Alex Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 39 minutes into the game, Alex Garcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucho Fernandez. Alex Garcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. In the 41st match minute, Vego F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Garcia to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Escobar in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucho Fernandez saved Isla Iguana F.C. from getting behind. After some careless play in the Isla Iguana F.C. defense, Hector Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucho Fernandez. The Isla Iguana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucho Fernandez should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Edgardo Henriguez made a precise shot to the right of Lucho Fernandez. Isla Iguana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. If Joe Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. Lucho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Vego F.C.'s corner Christian Garcia De Paredes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucho Fernandez quite easily take care of the ball.
