Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Milton Muñoz made the kick off which started today's match. Felipe Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Muñoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, San Blas's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gonzalez came free, but Felipe Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Rafael Muñoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Heraclides Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gabriel Briceño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heraclides Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Milton Muñoz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. San Blas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 19th match minute, Santiago De Veraguas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Pérez to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Briceño was a little too slow when Milton Muñoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th minute Ricardo Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes San Blas got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Lao. 35 minutes into the game, Juan Peren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santiago De Veraguas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Blas the free kick. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santiago De Veraguas F.C.! Sergio Carranza shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience was convinced that Milton Muñoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Briceño was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. If Milton Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Milton Muñoz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the San Blas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Muñoz couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Gonzalez was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Heraclides Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Briceño was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Santiago De Veraguas F.C.'s Rafael Muñoz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Felipe Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucho Dely charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucho Dely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santiago De Veraguas F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lucho Dely hit a great ball. San Blas's Milton Muñoz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to San Blas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Javier Briceño hit a great ball. Milton Muñoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milton Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gabriel Briceño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Trejos during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Santiago De Veraguas F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Blas:s goal. Gabriel Briceño had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Sergio Carranza's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gabriel Briceño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Lao went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Santiago De Veraguas F.C.'s Gabriel Briceño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heraclides Smith in the 95th minute of play. Lucho Dely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
