Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reggie Caballero took the kick off in the first half of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nuevo Vigía reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reggie Caballero in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Morris saved Nuevo Vigía from getting behind. In the 25th minute Felipe Moscoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Trejos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuevo Vigía's Hector Morris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Caballero in the 28th minute of play. Max De Diego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hector Morris made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Centella in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Trejos saved Chepo from getting behind. When Beto Centella came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nuevo Vigía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Centella couldn't finish the play. If Reggie Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Nuevo Vigía were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Felipe Moscoso took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Alex Trejos to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Vigía's Guillermo Smith got a free kick in the 58th minute. Max De Diego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Morris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Hector Morris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reggie Caballero in the 63rd minute of the match. A beautiful save bye Nuevo Vigía's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nuevo Vigía had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
