In the 18th minute Azael Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heraclides Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Calderón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heraclides Moreno. Atalaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Calderón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The tension between the Ailigandí F.C. and the Atalaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastián Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Pinilla in the 78th minute of play. Calito Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sebastián Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 86 minutes on the clock, Gabriel Agurto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Atalaya a penalty, 88 minutes into the game.
