The supporters of Duendes A.C. booed when La Tiza F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Ramírez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Sobenis made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Emiliano Sobenis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernando Ramos came out of the goal and Gabriel De Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Franklin Peralta sped through La Tiza F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Ramos. In the 69th minute, Giancarlo Villarreal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, La Tiza F.C.'s Fernando Ramos got control of the ball when Milton Oberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Ramos was a little too slow when Julian Castel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-3. When Gustavo Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Tiza F.C.'s protests and gave Gustavo Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Tiza F.C.'s Gustavo Bermudez got a free kick in the 88th minute.
