After having played for 7 minutes, Edgardo Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tole F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reggie De Paredes's late challenge caught a Los Pollos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reggie De Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Tole F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie De Paredes to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, Tole F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Smith to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Edgardo Smith fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Ivan De Paredes. 15 minutes into the match, Los Pollos's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Cedeño came free, but Ivan De Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Cedeño in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan De Paredes saved Los Pollos from getting behind. Ivan De Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cedeño in the 24th minute of play. Ivan De Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Cedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gustavo Cedeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan De Paredes having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Tole F.C.'s Agustin Gutierrez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agustin Gutierrez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tole F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agustin Gutierrez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tole F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Juan Quiros came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Pollos's Alejandro Muñoz. But to his dismay, Alejandro Muñoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Azael Peren took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan De Paredes. Ivan De Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Edgardo Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reggie Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ivan De Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Smith in the 45th minute of the match. Azael Peren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan De Paredes having to make a save. Edgardo Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Smith to make the kick off. Reggie Alfaro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Emiliano Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivan De Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azael Peren, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Tole F.C.'s Marcos Navarro got a free kick in the 60th minute. Emiliano Villalobos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan De Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Villalobos ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Quiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Muñoz in the 66th minute of the match. Azael Peren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan De Paredes having to interfere. Azael Peren struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ivan De Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tole F.C.. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Pollos's goalkeeper Ivan De Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Alejandro Muñoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Quiros. Tole F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Muñoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Azael Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tole F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gustavo Cedeño hit a great ball. When Azael Peren came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tole F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azael Peren couldn't finish the play. The Los Pollos support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
