The Los Pollos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan De Paredes should have stopped the shot. José Villalaz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luchito Carrillo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luchito Carrillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the game, Los Pollos's Alejandro Muñoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Oberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 83rd minute Luchito Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan De Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Pollos's Alejandro Muñoz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Pollos's Ivan De Paredes got control of the ball when Orlando Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line.
