Milton Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Moreno having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Ailigandí's Heraclides Ramírez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milton Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heraclides Ramírez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Sergio Trejos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ailigandí's Hector Castillo. The supporters of Ailigandí booed when Caimitillo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Mendieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Quirós in the 84th minute. Heraclides Ramírez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Milton Moreno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Milton Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
