The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Moreno having to interfere. Fabio Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Bazzinga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caimitillo F.C.:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Caimitillo F.C.. Tomaso González stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elias Amaya. 0-1. Wiliam Posam hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Emiliano Escobar struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Milton Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Bazzinga. Fabio Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Moreno having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Club Atletico Bazzinga got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Ramirez. Américo Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Elias Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Caimitillo F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Escobar made a kick off. Fabio Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Moreno having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Escobar in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Moreno saved Caimitillo F.C. from getting behind. After 58 minutes of play, Caimitillo F.C.'s David Toledano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Amaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Trejos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Amaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Fabio Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Milton Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Fabio Pimentel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Bazzinga and the Caimitillo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Bazzinga's Fabio Pimentel got a free kick in the 66th minute. When David Toledano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Caimitillo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Toledano couldn't finish the play. In the last second Elias Amaya throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Toledano in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sergio Trejos in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Amaya, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Sergio Trejos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Bazzinga's goal looked a bit too open when David Toledano came free, but Elias Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute David Toledano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Milton Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Atletico Bazzinga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caimitillo F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Caimitillo F.C..
