Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Humberto Murillo made the kick off and thus started the match. Francesco Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Felipe Lao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiří Šuba might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiří Šuba ran back to his position shaking his head. After 14 minutes, Carlos Aizprua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Río Duque F.C. and the David F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Río Duque F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of David F.C.:s goal. Hector Lozano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 16 minutes into the game, Francesco Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Río Duque F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave David F.C. the free kick. In the 16th minute, Francesco Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Hector Lozano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Lao skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Ramírez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Felipe Lao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Lao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Ramírez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Antonio Ramírez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David F.C.'s Matias Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Šuba in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiří Šuba to make the kick off. The corner ended in Alejandro Pimentel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but David F.C.'s Matias Paredes did a great save. If Jiří Šuba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jiří Šuba struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Matias Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Río Duque F.C.. With his leg Felipe Lao managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when David F.C.'s Antonio Ramírez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jiří Šuba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Paredes having to interfere. Antonio Ramírez struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Felipe Lao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for David F.C.. Río Duque F.C.'s Felipe Lao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Murillo in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind David F.C.'s goalkeeper Matias Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute Antonio Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Humberto Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Lao was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The supporters of David F.C. booed when Río Duque F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Šuba in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Río Duque F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
