Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agustin Villalaz kicked off to start the match. Felipe Lao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Villalaz in the 5th minute of play. Orlando Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Šuba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Lao came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Celmira's Agustin Villalaz. But to his dismay, Agustin Villalaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orlando Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Šuba, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes, Ricardo Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celmira and the Río Duque F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Río Duque F.C. booed when Celmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Sánchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiří Šuba went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gilberto Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jiří Šuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Orlando Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Río Duque F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Carlos Aizprua hit a great ball. In the last second Felipe Lao throw himself and got hold of the ball when Agustin Villalaz in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Río Duque F.C. booed when Celmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Castillero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Andres Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jiří Šuba, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Orlando Sánchez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiří Šuba made a kick off. With a little luck, Celmira's Orlando Sánchez got control of the ball when Jiří Šuba tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Agustin Barrera fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celmira's protests and gave Agustin Barrera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Celmira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Barrera to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Lao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Trejos in the 62nd minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Celmira's goalkeeper Orlando Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiří Šuba. The Celmira fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Celmira's Agustin Villalaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Joe Trejos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celmira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Many of Río Duque F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Río Duque F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Celmira were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
