Andrés Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toto Alfaro in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Toto Alfaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guararé F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocrí F.C. the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Guararé F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. Toto Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Garcia having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Pocrí F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Bermudez came free, but Andrés Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Reinaldo Bermudez rounded Pocrí F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Andrés Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Bermudez made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Guararé F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Lao to maneuver through the defense. Guararé F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Heraclides Ramírez scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Mendoza, making the score, 2-2. In the 56thth minute of the game Heraclides Ramírez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guararé F.C.'s Carlos Mendoza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reinaldo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Garcia having to interfere. Manuel Treviño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Mendoza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reinaldo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Garcia having to interfere. Andrés Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pocrí F.C.'s Andrés Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toto Alfaro in the 75th minute of play. Manuel Treviño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Carlos Mendoza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Heraclides Ramírez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Mendoza having to interfere. Gabriel Lao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guararé F.C.'s Ricardo Arauz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Reinaldo Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Andrés Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toto Alfaro in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrés Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
