Fabio Ulloa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. During the 11th minute of the match Ramón Orozco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ramón Orozco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of La Miel F.C. booed when Cirilo Guainora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Azael Smith shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Ulloa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cirilo Guainora's Fabio Ulloa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Caballero in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of La Miel F.C. booed when Cirilo Guainora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azael Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Ulloa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Caballero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Carlos Caballero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Carlos Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fabio Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Luchito Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martín Pimentel during the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luchito Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hector Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Cirilo Guainora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Miel F.C.:s goal. The referee gave La Miel F.C. a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Azael Smith, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cirilo Guainora's Fabio Ulloa. 3-0. Carlos Caballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ulloa having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Azael Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Herrera. That made the score 3-1 in the 61 minute of play. Carlos Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azael Castro in the 64th minute of play. If Azael Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel De Gracia hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Azael Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Ulloa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Carlos Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fabio Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Ulloa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by La Miel F.C.'s Carlos Caballero. But to his dismay, Carlos Caballero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Cirilo Guainora's Azael Castro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Carlos Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fabio Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Caballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ulloa having to interfere. Miguel De Gracia hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Miel F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cirilo Guainora had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
