Eloy Cedeño charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Cedeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes chitre fc got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Cedeño. In the 23rd minute, Antonio De Gracia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Ramos in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nuevo San Juan's zone, Luchito Espino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Oberto came out of the goal and Luchito Espino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Luchito Espino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the chitre fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luchito Espino couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Antonio De Gracia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The chitre fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Antonio De Gracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Oberto having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Luchito Espino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Oberto. The goal made the score 4-0. Felipe Gómez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo San Juan's Rigoberto Ramos. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Antonio De Gracia managed to get in a good position for a shot. chitre fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio De Gracia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Oberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luchito Espino might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Oberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luchito Espino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Antonio De Gracia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Oberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Luchito Espino notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Nuevo San Juan's Emiliano Oberto. Emiliano Oberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nuevo San Juan's Rigoberto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuevo San Juan's Emiliano Oberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Chavez in the 87th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Agustin Chavez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nuevo San Juan's Emiliano Oberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
