Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Alfaro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Jonathan Henriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Vicente De Bique F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Guararé F.C.'s zone, Orlando Carrillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Ríos came out of the goal and Orlando Carrillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Victor Oberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Guararé F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Zambrano. If David Pinilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Guararé F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s Ramón Tijero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guararé F.C.. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Alfaro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Oberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Benavides struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Victor Oberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guararé F.C.. 40 minutes into the game, Emiliano Arauz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guararé F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Vicente De Bique F.C. the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Guararé F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Arauz to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s goalkeeper Victor Oberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Oberto having to interfere. After the first half San Vicente De Bique F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Pinilla to make the kick off. The corner ended in Jaime Gil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guararé F.C.'s David Ríos did a great save. In the 57th minute, San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s David Pinilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 60 played minutes San Vicente De Bique F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cesar García. After a defensive mix-up in San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s zone, Pablo Benavides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Oberto came out of the goal and Pablo Benavides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Eduardo Alfaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s Victor Oberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Pinilla struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. David Ríos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Vicente De Bique F.C.. When Giancarlo Amaya fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guararé F.C.'s protests and gave Giancarlo Amaya a yellow card for diving instead. Giancarlo Amaya hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Jonathan Henriguez in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but David Ríos had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Muñoz during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Guararé F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guararé F.C.'s Emiliano Arauz got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th play minute Orlando Carrillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Ríos. 0-3. 92 minutes into the match, Guararé F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when David Pinilla came free, but David Ríos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Ramírez made a great header on Guararé F.C.'s corner, it was just that San Vicente De Bique F.C.'s Victor Oberto managed to reach the ball for a save. The San Vicente De Bique F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Vicente De Bique F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
