Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Totín Ríos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Fabio Dely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorrillo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Dely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Corral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Totín Ríos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jose Quintero to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the game, Rafael Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ricardo Corral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Rafael Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Corral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toto Sobenis took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Quintero. Jose Quintero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Chorrillo F.C.'s Jose Quintero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totín Ríos in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chorrillo F.C. defense, Toto Sobenis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Quintero. The Chorrillo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Quintero should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Corral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Paredes in the 34th minute of play forced Capetí F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Corral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totín Ríos in the 38th minute of play forced Chorrillo F.C.'s goalkeeper Jose Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Chorrillo F.C.'s Fabio Dely made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Corral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Corral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Paredes went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rafael Paredes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Chorrillo F.C.'s Fabio Dely ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Corral. Ricardo Corral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Fabio Dely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Capetí F.C.'s Toto Sobenis got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillo F.C.'s zone, Totín Ríos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Quintero came out of the goal and Totín Ríos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Capetí F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Henríguez to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Paredes in the 84th minute of play forced Capetí F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Corral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Totín Ríos made a precise shot to the right of Jose Quintero. Chorrillo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. In the 94th minute, Rafael Paredes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ricardo Corral, passed just outside the right post. Fabio Dely was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Chorrillo F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Chorrillo F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
