Alexander Toledano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Agurto in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Villa Zaita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Toledano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cheng Zhen. Alexander Toledano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Agurto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Azael Sobenis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Zaita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Panama the free kick. In the 16th minute, Azael Sobenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Monchi Diaz's late challenge caught a Real Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monchi Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Zaita! Cheng Zhen shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Alexander Toledano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Agurto in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Toledano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Toledano came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Panama's Victor Osorio. But to his dismay, Victor Osorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Tello to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Tello in the 54th minute of play forced Real Panama's goalkeeper Simon Lenny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Tijero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Toledano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Osorio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes Real Panama got a freekick which was hit by Totín Ramirez. Real Panama's Simon Lenny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Real Panama from getting a goal against them. If Agustin Agurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Real Panama's Agustin Agurto in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Zaita's goalie prevented a goal. Real Panama's Agustin Agurto got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Villalaz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Villalaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Osorio in the 81st minute of play forced Villa Zaita's goalkeeper Alexander Toledano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Agustin Agurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Toledano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totín Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Real Panama booed when Villa Zaita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Toledano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Toledano came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Panama's Agustin Agurto. But to his dismay, Agustin Agurto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Agustin Agurto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Toledano having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Panama fully deserved thier win.
