Spectators: 5801 (Terracing: 5801, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Milton Rios made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Cerro Punta's goalkeeper Victor Henriguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheito Rios. After having played for 6 minutes, Milton Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Azorius F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Milton Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in New Azorius F.C.'s zone, Orlando Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Perez came out of the goal and Orlando Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Navarro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Wiliam Ortiz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. José Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Perez having to interfere. New Azorius F.C.'s Francesco Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Corral in the 18th minute of play. Francesco Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Victor Henriguez made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cheito Rios sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match Alejandro Navarro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Henriguez skillfully saved the ball. Max Corral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Perez having to interfere. After some careless play in the New Azorius F.C. defense, Max Corral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Perez. The New Azorius F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Perez should have stopped the shot. Orlando Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Francesco Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Orlando Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerro Punta's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Navarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Corral got free with Francesco Perez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Navarro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Perez saved New Azorius F.C. from getting behind. The Cerro Punta fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Cerro Punta's Orlando Navarro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Orlando Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cerro Punta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Navarro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Navarro in the 83rd minute of play forced New Azorius F.C.'s goalkeeper Francesco Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Henriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Rios in the 86th minute of the match. Victor Henriguez came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by New Azorius F.C.'s Milton Rios. But to his dismay, Milton Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cerro Punta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
