New Azorius F.C.'s Milton Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Quirós charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Quirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of New Azorius F.C. booed when Los Pollos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Los Pollos's Nicolás Lozano in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Azorius F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Toto Morris took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Perez. Francesco Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Toto Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toto Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Perez having to interfere. If Cheito Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Rios in the 29th minute of play. Luis García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in New Azorius F.C.'s zone, Toto Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Perez came out of the goal and Toto Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolás Lozano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolás Lozano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Perez having to interfere. Francesco Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Los Pollos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Toto Morris made the kick off in the second half. New Azorius F.C.'s Francesco Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save New Azorius F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Los Pollos booed when New Azorius F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheito Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luis García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheito Rios in the 66th minute of play forced Los Pollos's goalkeeper Luis García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolás Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Los Pollos's goal looked a bit too open when Cheito Rios came free, but Luis García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Milton Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis García read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Los Pollos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Raul Fernandez hit a great ball. Milton Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Luis García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Pollos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
