When Tomaso Ortega fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C-4 F.C.'s protests and gave Tomaso Ortega a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Ortega in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Trejos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reggie Mendoza's late challenge caught a C-4 F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reggie Mendoza helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Smith took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Trejos. Ramón Trejos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Ortega during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Ortega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Trejos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Eloy Zambrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
