The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Villalaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Nata F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Torrijos came free, but Lorenzo Villalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lorenzo Villalaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Torrijos struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lorenzo Villalaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cermeño F.C.. 23 minutes into the match, Nata F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Torrijos came free, but Lorenzo Villalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Edgardo Torrijos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Villalaz. The Nata F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Villalaz should have stopped the shot. Franklin Fernández's late challenge caught a Cermeño F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Fernández helped the player get up and apologised. The Nata F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cermeño F.C. were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Edgardo Torrijos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Calito Sobenis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Oberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 57 minutes into the game, one of Nata F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Azael Sobenis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Rafael Alfaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Cermeño F.C. booed when Nata F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azael Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Edgardo Torrijos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nata F.C.'s Lorenzo Villalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nata F.C. from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Villalaz came out of the goal and Edgardo Torrijos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Edgardo Torrijos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nata F.C.'s Lorenzo Villalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Nata F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Rafael Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
