Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) San Jose United's Ramón Oberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th match minute, San Jose United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón De Leon to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, San Jose United's goalkeeper Beto Zambrano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Muñoz. Cerro Cama's Miguel Muñoz came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Beto Zambrano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Lucho Aizprua fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Jose United's protests and gave Lucho Aizprua a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, San Jose United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucho Aizprua to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Zambrano having to interfere. Miguel Muñoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Zambrano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, one of Cerro Cama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ramón De Leon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cerro Cama's Mario Spadafora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Oberto in the 33rd minute of play. Ramón Oberto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Mario Spadafora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Jose United. In the 45th minute, Gilberto Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Spadafora was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Muñoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Cerro Cama's Mario Spadafora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Oberto in the 52nd minute of play. Mario Spadafora made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gilberto Batista sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mario Spadafora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Jose United's Ramon Oberto suffered a sore thigh after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. José Espino charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Espino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Jose United booed when Cerro Cama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Espino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilberto Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cerro Cama's Miguel Muñoz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Miguel Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Zambrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Beto Zambrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Miguel Muñoz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of San Jose United's Beto Zambrano. Beto Zambrano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Beto Zambrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to San Jose United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramón De Leon hit a great ball.
