Coloncito F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Orlando Benavides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rafael Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Villalobos having to interfere. Rafael Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Benavides, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Monchi Centella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rafael Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Monchi Centella made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Volcán's Orlando Benavides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Bermudez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Eduardo Cedeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Lao kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Monchi Centella's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Rafael Bermudez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Coloncito F.C.'s Rafael Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Coloncito F.C. from getting a goal against them. Volcán's Orlando Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Barrera in the 86th minute of play. If Monchi Centella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coloncito F.C.'s Rafael Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Coloncito F.C. from getting a goal against them. Rafael Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Benavides in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Coloncito F.C.'s Rafael Bermudez got control of the ball when Orlando Benavides tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
