Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jose Sobenis got the match started through his kick off. Mario Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eduardo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Santa Fé's Marcos González got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Mario Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Tomaso Brandao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Sobenis in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Fé's zone, Jose Sobenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Gonzalez came out of the goal and Jose Sobenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Sobenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Gonzalez having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Mario Arias made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Santa Fé's Eduardo Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Sobenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Gonzalez having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jose Sobenis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Gonzalez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Toto Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Totin Centella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando García was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Orlando García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totin Centella in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Santa Fé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. If Jose Sobenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Toto Orozco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando García. Chilibre F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toto Orozco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Totin Centella in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando García saved Chilibre F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Orozco in the 83rd minute of play forced Chilibre F.C.'s goalkeeper Orlando García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Calderón hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Santa Fé's Toto Orozco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando García narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jose Sobenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilibre F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Sobenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Gonzalez having to interfere. The Santa Fé fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chilibre F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
