Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pablo Aizprua kicked off to start the match. Joe Escalona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes Chiriquí Grande F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Nuñez. Alejandro Arias succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 26th playminute. Joe Escalona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Aizprua in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Wiliam Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chiriquí Grande F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bethania F.C. the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Sánchez was the one to do the kick off. Rafael De Diego's late challenge caught a Bethania F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael De Diego helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael De Diego kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bethania F.C.'s Pablo Aizprua managed to work through Chiriquí Grande F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Pablo Aizprua dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Javier De Diego hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bethania F.C.'s Lorenzo Fernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Arias in the 58th minute of play. Alejandro Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Fernández having to interfere. If Pablo Aizprua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Fernández prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Alejandro Arias made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Fernández. Bethania F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Chiriquí Grande F.C.'s Ramón Arias got a free kick in the 87th minute. A collision led to Bethania F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pablo Aizprua hit a great ball. Alejandro Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moisés Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Fernández having to interfere. Chiriquí Grande F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
