Hector Tijero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Carranza in the 15th minute of the match. Matias Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Athletic Buffy Bantan's Giancarlo Escalona got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hector Tijero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Chavez in the 21st minute of the match. If Américo Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Athletic Buffy Bantan's Matias Corral got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Carranza made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Américo Chavez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hector Tijero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Américo Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hector Tijero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Carranza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Hector Tijero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Américo Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes, Ricardo Mendieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alanje F.C. and the Athletic Buffy Bantan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Alanje F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Mendieta. When Alanje F.C.'s Ramon Carranza in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Alanje F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Diaz should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Alanje F.C.'s zone, Christian Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Diaz came out of the goal and Christian Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
