The supporters of ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ booed when Gariché was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ got a freekick which was hit by Ivan De Leon. 13 minutes into the match, Alex Jaen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Carranza. Gariché's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Jaen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match, Reggie Bermudez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marin Bercea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, one of ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓. 25 minutes into the match, ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Mora came free, but Marin Bercea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés De Gracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pablo Carranza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Carranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Reggie Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gariché's supporters rose to their feet, but Reggie Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Bercea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Wiliam Escalona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gariché the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Wiliam Escalona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reggie Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marin Bercea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lefteris Pantazoulis fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s protests and gave Lefteris Pantazoulis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s Lefteris Pantazoulis got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, José Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gariché's supporters rose to their feet, but José Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Bercea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Marcos Batista fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s protests and gave Marcos Batista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcos Batista hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Escalona. It was beautiful to see Gariché's Jaime Dely in action when he in the 82nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Alex Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
