The audience was convinced that Matias Corral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Ramírez was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 92ndth minute of the game Totín Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Buffy Bantan's Hector Tijero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Matias Corral came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Athletic Buffy Bantan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Corral couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Guillermo Sobenis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Tijero. Athletic Buffy Bantan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Sobenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Colon F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
