Agustin Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Totin Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Beto Benavides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Totin Gil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Benavides in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Finca Blanco F.C.'s zone, Andres Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Gómez came out of the goal and Andres Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Totin Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Herrera in the 34th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Agustin Herrera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edgardo Gómez came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s Joe Brandao. But to his dismay, Joe Brandao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Beto Benavides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Totin Gil was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Garcia made a kick off. Martín Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Bermudez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Finca Blanco F.C.'s Edgardo Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Finca Blanco F.C. from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azael Ramirez during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Finca Blanco F.C. booed when Churuquita Chiquita F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Garcia De Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Trejos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Finca Blanco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Benavides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Sebastián Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Churuquita Chiquita F.C. and the Finca Blanco F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Churuquita Chiquita F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Carrillo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Agustin Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finca Blanco F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Totin Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Finca Blanco F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
