An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Mota in the 8th minute of play forced What F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cedeño having to interfere. Enrique Garcia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Cedeño came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Garcia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Sergio Tello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Finca Blanco F.C.'s Sebastián Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Sebastián Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but What F.C.'s Fabio Bermudez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in What F.C.'s zone, José Mendieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Bermudez came out of the goal and José Mendieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, What F.C.'s Reggie Urane got a free kick in the 35th minute. Finca Blanco F.C.'s Ivan Cedeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Garcia in the 38th minute of play. Francesco Peralta scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Cedeño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Finca Blanco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hector Spadafora. Ivan Cedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Garcia in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

What F.C.'s Francesco Peralta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Morales got free with Fabio Bermudez in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ivan Cedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Morales succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 69th playminute. In the 74th minute, Francesco Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finca Blanco F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 77th match minute, Finca Blanco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Mendieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Francesco Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedeño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francesco Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Bermudez having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Francesco Morales got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabio Bermudez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Sebastián Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Fabio Bermudez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Morales in the 99th minute. The Finca Blanco F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented What F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
