They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Miguel Amaya made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes La Villa got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Barrera. Milton Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cheito Henríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bocas Town's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miguel Amaya 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. If Milton Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheito Henríguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milton Ramirez in the 71st minute. Cheito Henríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Milton Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Villa's supporters rose to their feet, but Milton Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheito Henríguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79thth minute of the game Miguel Amaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bocas Town's Cheito Henríguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Milton Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
