After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Raul Lao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amsterdam FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Lao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Cedeño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Finca Blanco F.C.'s Ivan Cedeño got control of the ball when Raul Lao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amsterdam FC's Reggie Morris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Mota in the 24th minute of play. Sebastián Mota took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reggie Morris. Reggie Morris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Totín Gutierrez in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Cedeño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Paredes during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Amsterdam FC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Paredes. Reggie Morris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Morales went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Raul Lao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ivan Cedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Quiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Cedeño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Quiros ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Finca Blanco F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Totín Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedeño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reggie Morris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Lao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Cedeño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Quiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amsterdam FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finca Blanco F.C. the free kick. Lorenzo Quiros hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Sebastián Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amsterdam FC's Reggie Morris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastián Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Totín Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ivan Cedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Finca Blanco F.C.'s Sebastián Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reggie Morris. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Raul Lao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Lao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Cedeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lao in the 90th minute of the match. Chants of Finca Blanco F.C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Amsterdam FC had held the ball for most of the match.
