Totín Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Alfaro having to interfere. Totín Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Emanuel Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Lao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lao in the 20th minute of the match. Raul Lao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Santa Ana Arriba's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Lao came free, but Emanuel Alfaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Torrijos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Totín Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Alfaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Reggie Morris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Raul Lao came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Amsterdam FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Lao couldn't finish the play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emanuel Alfaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Emanuel Alfaro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Amsterdam FC's Raul Lao. But to his dismay, Raul Lao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Amsterdam FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santa Ana Arriba.
